Maryam Rad

For this project, I created a large model which is made of more than 1000 pieces and is based on the story of “Beauty and the Beast”. All the pieces, from the buildings to the characters, are attached together by magnets and can be manipulated and rearranged by kids playing with it.
 
The goal of the project is to express the story in a three-dimensional medium which helps foster creativity in children and improve their visualization skills. A teacher or parents could also interact with the child and could act as a narrator of the story.

The model is designed in 5 different space which includes: urban space, green forest, spellbound forest, the outer court of the palace and inside the palace.
